I want every man to know, You are equipped for this and in need of learning how to use that God-given equipment in order to deal with this fallen mess. There is so much going on, how could any man believe he could handle it on his own or worse, control it? The training of God is extensive and multi-faceted.
A huge part of training is knowing and experiencing that we are becoming like Him—Jesus. Learning how to engage in the world fiercely and lovingly, like He did, is where the men are separated from the boys. Few men make the move.
A man must learn how to see and hear the rhythms of grace and the cadence of battle. We must learn what to look for and what this battle is all about; Love—and make no mistake, we are still in the thick of this battle... for the hearts of many. (Chapter 10)
