My Journey with God
Spent most of my life believing that accomplishment and performance are the key factors in a fulfilling life. Tasks were first and people were a distant second. Then Jesus caught me in my mid 40's and the message of Zoweh captured me in my mid 50's. That message changed everything! While I am still doing some unlearning of those old bad habits I am greatly enjoying intimacy, oneness and connectedness to Jesus Christ and an oriented band of brothers.
My 3 Favorite Movies and Why
- Field of Dreams - love seeing the extravagant extent that God will go to in order to restore a father/son relationship.
- Mr Hollands Opus - how a man can spend much of his life missing his glory only to have it restored and become clear in an amazing way - through amazing circumstances.
- The Legend of Baggar Vance - love how the Holy Spirit is represented through Baggar and how He restores another man!
My 3 Favorite Books and Why
- The Prince of Tides - love the beauty of the writing and the humor (and sadness) of another very dysfunctional family.
- Intimacy with The Almighty - a short, simple read focusing on four key principles: Simplicity, Silence, Solitude and Surrender.
- The Cure - makes it clear that real intimacy can only come through honesty and vulnerability.

- Cinque Terra, Italy - beauty and history. A simpler way of life.
- Hawaii - incredible majesty and beauty - mountains rising out of the ocean.
- Home - sanctuary of peace, love and beauty.
