Every boy and girl, man and woman is asking ...
Do you see me? Am I strong? Am I beautiful? Can I come through? Do I have what it takes?
Your heart is precious to God. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.” Our hearts are the dwelling place of God - the new Holy of Holies. We receive God into our hearts when we place our lives in His hands.
The Symbolism of A King’s Ring
The Arc - The arc over the heart symbolizs the provision and protection of God, which never fails to cover us.
The Heart - The Diamond Heart represents our hearts, which are precious, beautiful, and to be cherished, like diamonds.
May your King’s Ring be a constant reminder whose you are, and to walk with God for both Wisdom and Revelation.
Initiation & Validation Ceremony
Validation - To make valid; substantiate; confirm. To give official sanction, confirmation, or approval to someone for what they have achieved, accomplished, endured or recovered.
Initiation - The ceremonies or rites of passage calling some up to more; any important act or event that serves to mark a passage from one stage of life to another.
Your role, privilege, and opportunity as a father, brother, or dear friend is to answer, "YES,” to the questions a masculine or feminine heart is asking throughout their lifetime. God is inviting you to partner with him to love them well.
Here is a short guideline to help get your thoughts flowing and make a memorable moment for the one you are honoring with a King’s Ring …
Step 1: Valdation
Thank everyone present for being a part of something historic. Describe why you want to do this.
While looking at the crowd and standing next to him Introduce your son, father, brother, or friend to everyone in attendance and share 3-5 things you love about him: character traits you see in him and - VERY IMPORTANT - Share one validating true life story about him and how these qualities & traits were seen at an earlier age. Next, consider sharing something that he has taught you.
Step 2: Initiation
Transition from speaking to attendees to speaking directly to your son, father, brother, or friend. Tell hiim how you see him.
Now align his shoulders square with yours so you are standing before one another. You are now looking at him eye to eye.
Then read the following regarding some aspect of his character. Remember - do not focus on what he does, but on who he is.
(Name),
What I love and admire about you is ___.
You are _.
I am so proud to be your _. I am honored to share this moment with you. This is A King’s Ring. it symbolizes your place in the Kingdom of God. Now pray over and for him. depending on what time allows, you may want to have a company of men pray. Allow other men to shake his hand, hold the ring, and deepen the moment with their own words of affirmation.
