God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. - 2 Corinthians 5:21
When you find your definitions in God, you find the very purpose for which you were created. Put your hand into God's hand, know His absolutes, demonstrate His love, present His truth, and the message of redemption and transformation will take hold. - Ravi Zacharias
Life is full of transforming moments. Most of them so small in and within themselves few of us ever recognize they are moving. Like my total unawareness that the earth is spinning on an axis at 1,000 miles per hour making one full rotation every 24 hours. I do see a new day and am aware when it is time to shut one down, but transformation ... not often do we see and yet, it is happening.
It was Norman Mailer who once said,
Every moment of one's existence one is growing into more or retreating into less. One is always living a little more or dying a little bit.
It is true and all too often we are unaware. Living Unaware is not for the Kingdom son or daughter. As a matter of fact, the life of a Jesus apprentice is one of becoming. We are becoming (being transformed) by God into our truest self. That process, that journey started when Jesus became sin and made right. Receiving Jesus' love and life comes with a host of benefits. Collectively they are true of me AND are making me into someone. I am made righteous and am being made righteous. It is a wild and wonderful thing … God has put it in me to become, and I am becoming … that is
Transformation
How is God transforming you?
I invite you to pray into seeing and hearing, asking and knocking … inviting God to make you aware of the the work He is doing in you, for you, and to you.
For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. - 2 Corinthians 5:21 (AMP)
The Daily Prayer - Paragraph 3
Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me and choosing me before you made the world[3]. You are my true Father – my Creator, my Redeemer, my Sustainer and the true end of all things, including my life. I love you, I trust you, I worship you. Thank you for proving your love for me by sending your only Son, Jesus, to be my substitute and representative.[4] I open up my life anew to all of his Life and all his work, which you ordained for me.[5] Thank you for including me in Christ,[6] for forgiving me my sins, [7] for granting me his righteousness, [8] for making me complete in him.[9] Thank you for making me alive with Christ[10], raising me with him,[11] seating me with him at your right hand,[12] granting me his authority[13] and anointing me with your Holy Spirit.[14] I receive it all with thanks and give it total claim to my life.
